The rooms were spacious, the living room good size, a nice lanai with patio furniture and a really nice kitchen. Being able to make some of your meals, really cuts your cost down. They also have basketball, volleyball, tennis, two pools (one was closed) two small gyms and dinning on property. We were there at the tail end of 'Hurricane Lane' and the Kona Coast resort updated us to what was going on and even brought the lanai furniture inside as a precaution. I would have given 4 stars if they could have given us a later check out. With the anxiety of the storm and so many flights cancelled I was surprised the girl working on Saturdays check out was so matter of fact. And a 10 am check out is the earliest of any properties I've ever stayed at. I Concierge at a property in Kihei and we have 11 am, a hospitality room and accommodate late check outs when they can, for one to two hours. All in all, the Kona Coast resort was a very nice property.
